If you need a new factor in order to accurately map your carbon footprint submit a request and we’ll add it for you. In order to request an emission factor we will need a few items from you:
- Emission Factor Name
- Emission Factor
- Make sure you include the units and the gas type i.e. 12 kg CO2e/L or 12 kg C02/L, 112g N20/L, 100g CH4/L
- Valid to-from date
- Emission factors can change over time, enter the date range applicable, i.e. 01/01/2019 - present or 01/01/2020-12/31/2021
- Emission factor source
- Paste the URL of the source where you found this factor and any description if necessary
- In order to add your emissions in we need to have the source where you pulled the emission factor from.
Requesting a custom emission factor
- Click "Help" button in header
- Click "Request" under request new emission factor section
- Complete the form with all of the previous mentioned criteria
- Submit the form
- We will process your request and add it into our system and notify you when it is complete.
