Carbon credits allow a company to invest in a project in order to compensate for their emissions made in their regular business operations. Offsets can be controversial within the scientific community because certain companies can treat them as a way to get “off the hook” without actual reduction efforts.
In spite their controversy we are facing a climate emergency and the time to act is now. Offsetting will not be our only reduction strategy; Our stance is offsets should only be used by businesses when reduction efforts have been made, rather than a hall pass for pollutions to continue at current rates.
Our Philosophy
We rigorously reviews all of the projects in its portfolios and incorporates guidance from 3rd party experts like Carbonplan and the The Oxford Principles for Net Zero Aligned Carbon Offsetting to provide carbon credits that result in real climate impact.
