Absolute Targets
This is a target that aims to reduce carbon emissions by a set amount, either in the form of a percentage (eg: a 50% decrease by 2032) or an absolute numeric value (eg: Reduce 500 tons of carbon emissions by 2049).
Intensity Targets
This is a target that seeks to decrease Intensity emissions, which is the ratio between the volume of GHG produced and another relevant economic unit.
The two default intensity units that we have within Carbonhound are:
- Monthly Total Employees
- Monthly Revenue
In addition to these two intensity units you can also add a custom intensity target. Read more about it here.
